Mastering the Six Principles Class
In this two-day drawing class, the art student is introduced to the classical fundamentals to draw realistically from life utilizing sculpture as the models. The six principles are covered in detail. Each principle is simple and easily learned, but requires patience and practice to master.
Your drawing materials to bring to class include an 11 x 17-inch or larger drawing pad, 6B pencil or charcoal, and a KNEADED eraser. The latter erases cleanly without smears.
This is a two-day class that meets on Saturday and Sunday. The enrollment is limited to five (5) students for one-on-one training and meets for four hours each day starting at 1 p.m. at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. The specific location in the Museum will be announced to the attendees. To avoid overbooking, schedule the weekend of attendance for both days by contacting dw@manofthemet.com. After receiving a confirmation email, click the Add to Cart tab for the tuition. The training manual noted here is included as part of the tuition
